The Fort Point Channel Open will take place Saturday, June 3 at our Boston Rowing Center site. Entering its 6th year, the Fort Point Channel Open is fast becoming a community-wide event, bringing rowers and spectators from all over the region down to Fort Point. Competitors from New England and New York come primed and ready to lay claim to the title of “Crewmaster”. Coxed fours line up side by side in a series of round-robin style heats. The course runs around the Boston Tea Party Museum ships, blasting under bridges and around tight turns, ending in a sprint for the finish line in front of the Children’s Museum park. This event is open to youth, adult and mixed crews with intermediate to advanced skills. We supply all the boats and gear.
